Mohawk Girls Cross Country Camps
2010 Mohawk Team

The Mohawk Girls Cross Country Team is rich with tradition.  The Mohawks have qualified for the State Meet 12 of the past 19 years, including a stretch of 9 years straight from 1993-2001.  
 
In the past 4 years, the Mohawks have been ranked in the top 15 in almost all of the weekly polls in Class 4A.  These past two years the Mohawks have been State Qualifiers and have placed very high in all their meets.  The fresh/soph and junior varsity teams are also doing exceptionally well, which indicates the depth the Mohawks have with their squad of 40 girls. This year's team hopes to improve on their finishes of a year ago.
 
Besides being returning State Qualifiers, the 2010 team returns 10 of their top 12 girls, all of whom are letter winners.  The team is led by several runners who sport a performance that puts them on the top 15 of our All Time Performance List.  Senior Nicole Ausborn (#4 on the All Time List) leads the team, with Soph. Nicolle Hewett (#8), soph. Cortni Rush (tied for #10), jr. Brea Alexander (#12), jr. Kaitlin Younker (#14), and jr. Rachelle Piper (#15).
